Technological calculation of absorption column designed to remove hydrochloric acid from the waste gases from the metal pickling area to the required MAC level is performed.
The column diameter, nozzle type, column height, irrigation density, amount of retained water, pressure drop and main geometrical dimensions were determined.
The column capacity is 15 000 m3/h.
The calculation was performed in the ChemCad environment based on the absorption/chemisorption calculation program developed by us.
